ABOUT ROSANNA
Rosanna Corfe is a British artist and designer creating hand-painted ceramics, textiles, art prints and homeware.
Growing up in the Hampshire countryside, Rosanna developed an early love of nature, drawing and making. These influences remain central to her work today, alongside a longstanding interest in interiors, decorative arts, ceramics and textiles.
With a background in illustration, textile design and interiors, Rosanna creates pieces for the home that are colourful, characterful and made to last. Working from her studio in South East London, each design begins by hand, whether painted directly onto ceramics or developed as an original artwork before being translated into textiles, prints and other homeware.
Her work often takes inspiration from the natural world, from birds and animals to plants and flowers, as well as historic ceramics, folk art and decorative objects. The result is a collection of pieces that feel distinctive and playful, while still being designed to sit comfortably within the home.
Rosanna works closely with skilled makers and specialist manufacturers who share her commitment to quality and craftsmanship. Materials are carefully selected with quality, longevity and environmental impact in mind, including recycled cotton textiles, FSC-certified papers and recyclable packaging.
At the heart of Rosanna's work is a belief that the objects we live with every day should be both beautiful and useful. From a hand-painted platter to a woven throw or art print, each piece is designed to bring something individual to the home and to be enjoyed for years to come.
